The program for this international ideas competition challenges participants to design a new Athletics Stadium for hosting local, national and international athletics sports events in Brasilia.

The new Athletics Stadium should create an exciting and visually strong structure at the Brasilia considering the architecturally the position of the city of Brasilia.

The proposal should take into accounts:
o Changing Rooms with toilets for Athletes
o Function / Social (Food & Refreshment, Shops)
o Signage, Queuing and Ticketing, Waste Management
o Administration, Audio and Visual, Press & Reporters
o Safety (Security / Health & Safety)

Total Area occupied by design: Open to participants. However should not exceed the total area of the site.
Seating Capacity: 70,000 (Seventy Thousand)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Access to the Athletics Stadium must satisfy disabled access requirement.
COMMENTARY: It is the organiser's intention for this genaral stage (Stage 1) of the competition to be as design constraints free as possible to allow competitors' ideas for the chosen site and designs to be as creative and test the boundaries of what is possible. However exciting and challenging the creative opportunity presented within such few parameters may be, it is equally important that any proposal exhibit an amount of functionality and viability.

ELIGIBILITY:

Architects
Architecture Graduates
Architecture Students
Team (Architects, Architecture Graduates, Architecture Students )
Inter-Disciplinary Teams (engineers, designers in-conjunction with an architect).

Submissions can be the work of an individual or a group up to 4 members (architects, architecture graduates or architecture students etc) aged 18 or over at the time of registration. Registration and participation in the competition implies an immediate acceptance by entrants of all terms & conditions governing the site and competition.
INELIGIBILITY:

Employees, consultants, agents of ArchTriumph.
Employees, partners, friends, family, personnel, office practice or studios associated with any of the Jury.
Persons who have taken part in the organisation of the Competition or the writing of the architectural brief
Persons involved in the establishment or in the preparation of the program (including any feasibility for the Competition site or topic).

REGISTRATION: Entrants may register by filling the online registration form and submitting it with the relevant payment by Debit/Credit card through a secure gateway. FEES: Every entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee as follows:

Special Registration: $80 US from 11th March 00:00 (GMT) to 16th March 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Early Registration: $100 US from 17th March 00:00 (GMT) to 13th April 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Standard Registration: $120 US from 14th April 00:00 (GMT) to 04th July 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Late Registration: $150 US from 05th July 00:00 (GMT) to 10th July 2013 23:59 (GMT)
